Compact two-story home with classic gable roof
House D-101 is designed for clients who want a real family home on a small footprint. With overall building dimensions of just 6.80 m by 7.30 m, the project fits comfortably on tight or irregular plots, while delivering 99.28 sq.m. of living space distributed across two floors.
The structure is monolithic reinforced concrete combined with masonry enclosing walls and a 10 cm EPS thermal insulation envelope. Heating and cooling are designed around a heat pump or split air-conditioning system, keeping operating costs low all year round.
The classic two-pitched gable roof gives the home a timeless silhouette and remains compatible with both rural villages and modern villa developments.

The ground floor concentrates the daily living functions on 49.64 sq.m. of built-up area. A welcoming entrance leads into an open living, dining and kitchen zone that opens out through wide glazing to the ground-level veranda, a natural extension of the living space towards the garden. A guest toilet and a compact under-stairs storage closet that makes full use of the dead space complete the layout, keeping the footprint disciplined without sacrificing daily comfort.

Sleep zone
The first floor, also 49.64 sq.m. of built-up area, is reserved for the private zone. Here you find two well-proportioned bedrooms, a master bedroom and a second bedroom or children’s room. The master enjoys the added advantage of a spacious en-suite bathroom with WC for private use. The compact stairwell and central hallway minimise wasted circulation so every square metre serves a real function. The high ceilings under the roof give a feeling of space and openness.
